Η περίεργη νίκη του Nonito Donaire με τον Ryan Burnett

Τον τίτλο της WBA στην super bantamweight κατηγορία κατέκτησε την Κυριακή ο Nonito Donaire σε ένα από τα πιο περίεργα φινάλε που έχουμε δει σε πυγμαχικούς αγώνες.

Ο αντίπαλος του Ryan Burnett  επιχείρησε να χτυπήσει τον Donaire ωστόσο τραυματίστηκε και ο αγώνας διεκόπη στον τέταρτο γύρο. Δείτε το βίντεο.

In the Quarter Final of the Bantamweight World Boxing Super Series, Nonito Donaire defeats Ryan Burnett who is forced to retire in his corner due to an absolutely absurd injury; whereby Burnett threw a punch and ends up with some sort of rib/back injury, in the 4th round. Donaire is now the WBA super bantamweight champion. – Huge respect to Burnett who did his best to fight on and showed the heart of a lion, but his body just wouldn’t allow him to. Such a shame to see a fighter lose his title, undefeated record and his place in the tournament in this fashion. – – Hoping this is just a setback for him and he can return to the ring soon enough.
