Ένα σπάνιο φωτογραφικό υλικό έδωσε στο φως της δημοσιότητας ο πρώην προπονητής του Mike Tyson, Freddie Roach. Ο κόουτς του Iron Mike αλίευσε το υλικό από έναν φωτογράφο που είχε ζητήσει άδεια το 2004 να βρεθεί σε μία προπόνηση.
Ο Roach τον δέχτηκε ωστόσο το ζήτημα ήταν αν ο Tyson θα αποκρινόταν θετικά σε κάτι τέτοιο. Όπως εξιστορεί ο φωτογράφος στο post του Roach, βρέθηκε στα αποδυτήρια και τελικά έπεισε τον πυγμάχο να βγάλει μερικές φωτογραφίες. Δείτε το υλικό.

I spent the day with the baddest man on the planet @miketyson. I called up @freddieroach who was training Iron Mike and asked if I could come to Phoenix to shoot Mike in camp and possibly do a quick shoot with him. Freddie said yes, you can come by that he didn’t know if Mike would do a shoot. I decided to fly to Phoenix and take a chance. I set up my lights and background in the gym. Mike walked in and went to the back to prepare for training. after training I went to the lockerroom where Mike was getting dressed. Mike didn’t know me but @stevekimespn was there interviewing Mike so I was a fly on the wall listening but after the interview we talked. I told him I couldn’t beleive I was sitting down with the guy that KO’D Spinks in 96 seconds, he blew it off and said “that’s nothing”. We talked about his kids and what they were doing and life in general. When Mike was getting ready to go, I asked him about doing a quick shoot. Mike said no he didnt bring anything to wear, I said, Mike your wearing black trunks, that’s all you ever wore. he said ok, let’s do it. Mike only ever did a handful of studio shoots and I did one of them. A day I will never forget.
