Ο Peter έχει φτιάξει ειδικά προγράμματα για διάσημους που βασίζονται στα μαχητικά αθλήματα. Οι προπονήσεις αυτές αφορίζουν τα βάρη καθώς ο ίδιος θεωρεί πως υπάρχουν ντουζίνες ασκήσεων που μπορεί κάποιος να χτίσει το κορμί του.

Στην ηλικία των 20 ασχολήθηκε με τις πολεμικές τέχνες και σήμερα χτυπάει το τηλέφωνο του, όπου τον αναζητούν σταρ του Χόλιγουντ για να χτίσουν το σώμα και την αυτοπεποίθηση τους μέσω των μαχητικών σπορ.

Ο ίδιος ισχυρίζεται πως δεν ζορίζει τους πελάτες του να μάθουν αυτά τα αθλήματα. Όταν όμως τα δοκιμάσουν μία φορά, τους συναρπάζει και του ζητούν από μόνοι να ακολουθήσουν αυτό τον δρόμο.

Βλέπουν δραστικές αλλαγές στο σώμα καθώς τα μαχητικά, τα χαρακτηρίζει ως «αερόβια και αναερόβια άσκηση συγχρόνως».

Welcome to the start of #FitnessFriday. Each Friday I’ll be posting something about fitness that I hope will inspire you. So many of you are asking how I have managed to stay in great shape over the years. Well, part of it is genetics, that’s true. I was a gymnast growing up and that certainly has helped as I have always been very athletic. I have worked with many trainers over the years and learned a lot from each of them. However, now I’d like to introduce you to my favorite trainer and what I call my secret weapon! Peter Lee Thomas! This man has changed my life. Besides being an all around wonderful human, he’s a trainer, martial artist, fellow actor, and nutrition specialist! With his help, I have learned so much about fitness and nutrition and I’m excited to share it with all of you. He’s taught me boxing, self defense, and much more. Not only am I in the best shape of my life, but I can actually defend myself and most importantly… my children! As a woman there is nothing more empowering. This #FitnessFriday let’s have fun while we work out! Trust me, I know how hard it is to get motivated at times, but when my workout is fun, it’s a whole lot easier! Every once in a while Peter and I just need to have a good time and get recharged! So today we share some ways to work out with a partner and have fun too!! I also want to share one of my secret weapons that I think has helped me defy my age and look and feel younger than my years. The secret is Bone Broth! It’s made with bones that are simmered for at least 8 hours. I like to slow cook my bones in my crock pot for 24 hours. The purpose is to cook the bones until they produce gelatin collagen and trace minerals that support the immune system and helps with the development of healthy joints, bones, ligaments and tendons as well as hair and SKIN! These nutrients are considered “beauty foods” because they help the body with proper structural alignment and beautiful skin and hair. The collagen in #bonebroth also helps with digestion and heals your gut lining and reduces intestinal inflammation. It’s important to find bones from humanely raised healthy animals. 100% grass-fed cows, bison, lamb and organic chicken bones. Wild game like deer and antelope are great as well. You can drink it plain or how I like it with a little salt, ground pepper and crushed garlic. I know for some this may sound nasty as hell, but I promise you, it’s not bad at all and drinking bone both will slow down your inevitable race to the finish line! Exercises: -Light as a feather 20 jumps for 3/5 sets One person working core the other working legs cardio and core -Stickem up Both working core and upper body 20 reps per side for 3/5 sets -London bridge One works chest triceps The other works legs and cardio 10 reps in each direction for 3/5 sets -Rocking chair Both workout biceps, core and legs do 10 rep per arm/20 reps total for 3/5 reps

Happy Fitness Friday 💪🏼 @halleberry I believe the med ball is one of the most versatile and underrated pieces of equipment. It tones your core and increases your overall strength, challenges balance, coordination and endurance as well as promotes explosive power. You can get a full body workout with just a ball. It truly is an entire «all in one gym”. Medicine ball training wasn’t invented yesterday, it is said to have been a form of strength and conditioning for the ancient gladiators as far back as 1000 BC! Fast forward to 2018, I believe it can offer a wealth of dynamic exercises just waiting to be rediscovered and implemented in todays modern world. Lastly, I am hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t have fun throwing a medicine ball. When you’re having fun while training you feel incredible and it will inspire you to keep going! Thank God it’s #FitnessFriday. Today is all about the couple workout. It’s often easier to workout with a partner. A partner holds you accountable so you won’t quit halfway through. A partner can spot you so you don’t injure yourself, but most of all, working out with a partner just makes it all more fun! Here are two simple exercises you and your boo can do at home. It’s a plank with a squat and each person gets a workout at the same time. Squats for butt and legs and plank for core and upper body. Do 20 reps for 10 sets.
